Starting June 2, all Finanta Credit Union members will be required to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) when logging into your online or mobile app account. You’ll verify your identity with a code every time you log in. It’s a simple step that adds protection to your account and personal information.

Ready to set-up your MFA? Follow these steps!
Step #1: Log into your Finanta Credit Union online banking portal or your banking app.
Step #2: Follow on-screen prompts to register your device.
Step #3: You will be able to select an email or cell phone for a one time password.
Step #4: Press Send Code .
Step #5: Enter the one-time verification code.

What is multi-factor authentication (MFA)?
MFA adds an extra layer of security to your account. After entering your password, you’ll be asked to enter a one-time code sent to your phone or email. This helps make sure it’s really you logging in.
Why is MFA being required?
Protecting your personal and financial information is a top priority. MFA makes it harder for anyone else to access your account—even if they have your password.
When does this start?
MFA will be required starting June 2, 2025 for all Finanta Credit Union online and mobile banking users.
How does it work?
Each time you log in, you’ll enter your username and password as usual. Then, you’ll receive a verification code by text, email, or authenticator app (depending on your settings). Enter that code to finish logging in.
Do I have to do this every time I log in?
Yes, you’ll be asked to verify your identity each time you log in. It’s a quick step that adds strong protection to your account.
How do I make sure my contact information is up to date?
Log into your account now and check that your phone number and email address are correct. You’ll need access to one of these to receive your login code.
